Boljun is an ancient town first mentioned in the early 12th century. It is located in northeastern Istria, in the municipality of Lupoglav. It is characterized by a very well-preserved medieval castle with a wide view of the fertile Boljunčica valley and the Učka mountain range. The town is located on a hill in the heart of nature, and offers its residents and guests a life in untouched nature, peace and quiet, and of course specific local specialties in the local tavern.
