Stone houses for renovation near the center of Vodnjan
Istria, Vodnjan, center
In the very heart of Vodnjan, in one of the quieter streets of the old town core, lies this authentic Istrian property consisting of two separate buildings and a courtyard of 30 m². The location offers immediate proximity to shops, cafés and other amenities, while maintaining the intimacy and peace typical of historic town alleys.
The first building, accessible directly from the street, extends over the ground floor and first floor. The ground floor once served as storage for agricultural equipment, while the upper floor was used as a hayloft. The courtyard separates this building from the second, which was originally used as a stable. The entire complex had an agricultural function in the past, which gives it a special character and authenticity.
Both buildings require complete renovation, but therein lies their potential – the creation of a unique home or holiday house in authentic Istrian style, preserving the spirit of the past while offering modern comfort.
A perfect project for those who love historic town centers, traditional architecture, and wish to breathe new life into a space that can become a true oasis of peace in the center of Vodnjan.
