Lokvičići is a municipality in the Split-Dalmatia County near Imotski. Lokvičići get their name from the Lokvičić tribe, they consist of several villages and several hamlets, among which we should mention Berinovac, Kljenovac, Poboj, Lokvičići, Vidulini, Dolića Draga Donja and Dolića Draga Gornja. Located between Biokovo and Zaveli with its hills and pastures, Lokvičići has been attractive to people since ancient times, which is confirmed by numerous historical remains: stećci from the 12th century and a Roman road. Lake Mamića (Lokvičićko lake), Knezovića lake, and Galipovac are located nearby. Lokvičići are located at an altitude of 450-700 m and are influenced by a sub-Mediterranean and mountain climate, which is why nearby Imotski has a climate twice as hot.
